well see if you use AOL at all it installs the AOL adapter. On some
machines -- I never did understand why only some -- the mere presence of
the AOL adapter trashes TCP/IP. Wich can be fixed in 20 minutes if you know
how but is endless with a newbie that thinks it is easier to just use AOL.

Anyway, they are thinking that the alternates are not reliable because the
TCP/IP keeps going down, and they refuse to believe AOL might be a cause of
this. That's bashing.
