A Man called Horse took its suspension from a man in San Francisco who calls himself Fakir Musafar. I've seen him talk and watched a video of him leading a ball dance (small needles through the flesh which are then attached to lightweight balls). The dancing with the balls pulling is supposed to generate the same kind of rush that Critter went through)
