Well - again another angle - if your clients put an emphasis on security, that would not be allowed. Having the AntiVirus update automatically solves one of those issues, however if they seriously cared about their security, they would not allow / prevent those settings from being changed. Evidently, they don't place that high of an emphasis on this, however.
