" The guy actually showed slides which said: OPTIMIZATION INVESTMENT 5X as much time optimizing for Nvidia cards We were surprised at the discrepancy ATI Hardware didn't need it And Must use DX8 on the Nvidia 5200 and 5600 to get playable framerates. Wtf???? This should be huge news in the graphics card market, and I hope it's a huge blow to Nividia! I'd like to see what their PR spin doctors have to say about this, and how they defend themselves. First they get caught flat footed with the glaring debacle of their early DX9 cards, then they get nailed for glaring driver cheats in 3DMark and now this??(Throw in losing the graphics hardware in the Xbox 2 to ATI somewhere in there). Damn.
