Matt,

We have an indoor cat and it has all its claws. We just trim them regularly
like I do for my own toenails. We also spent time training the cat to not
scratch furniture and to only scratch a proper scratching post. They need to
scratch to keep the nails healthy, but they CAN learn to not scratch
everything.
