Ok, so no matter what you do the cat will become infected?  This is
ridiculous man.  You know that's not true. 

Listen I don't think it's right to do all the time.  I have an indoor cat
and an outdoor cat.  The indoor is declawed, the outdoor needs em for
defense. It's that simple for me.

I mean, would you not get your dog spayed or neutered?  That's mean and
painful, but it stops them from getting certain types of cancer, and helps
them to live longer.

Also declawing is much better for those people that aren't going to take
proper care of their animals.  I have seen the results of cat's claws grown
far to long.  They split, bleed and get infected.
