You can also try shaving him down. I know that sounds extreme, but if there
is no fur, then the fleas wont stay on him.

well there is always repeated baths to drown the fleas; I am sure he will
love that. I have a vague memory of using a pyrethrum powder on some rather
fragile kittens but you might want to run this past someone else before you
try it, it's been a while.
