this was Florida and their policy is that a kid can come back to class if a
cursory glance does not reveal anything moving. My son kept catching them
at school and giving them to his sister -- it was horrible cause apart from
the discomfort her daycare would not accept her for three days after each
time they found lice.
I nearly got fired. When I complained the school would say I must not be
washing all the bedding or something. I finally had to transfer him.
