nah i wouldn't trust someone else you know how cats get when wet they
are pissed and it would be easy to loose your temper with someone elses
animal.

I wouldn't trust anymore but family or me

That is HILARIOUS!  And it sounds like it would work too.  I'm surprised
that vets' offices don't do something similar.

I think the normal practice is to give the cat a mild sedative.  The
last time I took mine in, the woman that washes the cats said they would
probably have to start giving my cat one.  I don't know if that is
something that you could get for home use for those of you that wash
your own.  Personally, I figure it is worth the money to let someone
else do the washing so that I don't get the blame.

lol yea same story but what worked for me the best was putting the cat
in the tub put a milk crate over the cat. Get the water the right temp
then spray her down using a hand held nozzle and kinda pouring the bath
onto her and carefully reaching in to lather her up. I got some
scratches but not as bad as the first time without the crate.
