that the couple did not have a living will, so there is no legal instrument
to convey the wife's wishes. It's really sad, because there is a lot of
intimation that it's all about money. I just know that I would not want to
see my wife live like that for 13+ years, or worse yet have my wife see me
like that for that length of time.
It's really a sticky situation, but I agree that neither Governor Duh nor
the legislature has a part to play in this. Sad really.
