Niagara Falls). Jobs for tech folks seem thin on the ground, but
there's also fewer applicants (not like here in Boston where there are
actually a decent number of jobs but thousands applicants for each) so I
would say you're chances are about even - but you won't be able to pick
and choose.
One really nice thing is that the housing costs are actually pretty
good: it's mostly a blue-collar area so decent homes can be had for
$70,000+ (in Boston Metro that's $300,000+)
Western NY is a great area to live. Near a lot of fine schools,
attractions and national parks.
