withdrew during any war to anyone. anywhere.
Canadians fled the beaches on the North of France (so did everyone else). I
can't remember the name of the battle, but they were using any ship they
could get to return to England. This was during world war 2.
Also no one won the war of 1812. It was a stalemate. There were both
American and British victories.
