I meant to pipe up about this earlier, but Jon's post kinda pushed a couple
of my buttons.

First of all, I've only used it once but it works fine, that's CFBB at
http://www.adersoftware.com/index.cfm?page=cfbb, available for free.

Secondly, who says that CF has no "hobbyist angle"?  With the emergence of
extremely inexpensive hosts including CF in their packages, Blue Dragon and
MySQL support in MX, there are a lot of avenues where non-corporate web
applications can be built using CF.  I do so all the time.

Thirdly, I think that those who write "shared" code, be it freeware,
snippets, artifacts or what have you, and put it out for free public
consumption, aren't doing so to better their names and reputations.  If I
write something  and put it up for grabs and someone takes it and throws
away my header and footer there's not a lot that I can do, but then again if
it's something that I've already written off as a freebie, should I care?
