Phill-

olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil are all good (monounsaturated).
You may find the flavor of one or the other goes better with a recipe.

Places like Costco and Sam's Club sell packages of boneless/skinless chicken breasts. We split the big packages up into little freezer bags, take out and thaw the amount we need.

re: cereal, my daughter discovered Nature's Path Optimum Slim cereal - we get it at Trader Joe's. Very low fat, 0 sat., 11g fiber, only 10g sugars, yummy too. 9g of protein - soy. Whole grains, organic. www.naturespath.com

We've been substituting brown rice for white rice, whole wheat pasta for plain, sweet potatoes for white, whole wheat bread/pita/bagels/tortillas.

HTH, good luck.
