Lets look at your points here for a minute, and I pointed a few of these out
to you awhile ago.

You: The PS2 has sold far more than the Xbox.
Me: It has differed in each country, in Australia the market share is as
follows. Xbox 44%, PS2 51% and Gamecube 5%. Source of this information is
reliable and in print. Not bad for a console that has only been out in this
country for just under 2 years compared to PS2 for nearly 5.

You: The phantom us using some soon to be end of life parts.
Me: The PS2, Xbox and the PS1 are the same. These machines can not be
upgraded, unless you buy the next generation machine.

In time my dog will be obsolete, the PS1 is obsolete the PS2 will be
obsolete as the PS3 is unveiled. And the Xbox will be too as soon as the
details of Xbox 2 are released. What is your point on saying that the
phantom will be obsolete everything we own or buy becomes obsolete. My
mobile phone (cellular in other countries) was obsolete before I even bought
it. Again you talk from your perspective and not anyone else's.

The next Generation 64bit PC will not run all PC games, it will not be 100%
backward compatible so does that mean I should not buy it because I use my
software, I will be forced to buy new versions of Photoshop and Windows XP
(to get the benefit of the speed) again you open your mouth before thinking.
Oh I forgot you are a hacker who gets things for nothing anyway, so you
don't spend this extra money on updating and moving forward.

Lets see you also have some other facts I should bring forward:-

You: Fact - The phantom is based on PC Technology.
Me: The phantom is going to be based on a set of standards, like EIDE, PCI,
AGP the same as Apple started to move towards. PC stands for personal
computer, so by this my XBox is a personal computer as it uses PC technology
to play Xbox games.
You: The phantom is hella expensive relative to other consoles.
Me: Let me see the price of the PS1 was very expensive when it came out, the
PS2 and Xbox also was very expensive when they were released and dropped as
time went on as the demand got higher. The phantom will more than likely
follow, the PS3 and Xbox 2 will be around the same price the phantom will be
when they get released too. WHAT the HELL is your point here.
You: A phantom owner would have to rebuy their games.
Me:  Well guess what so do Xbox owners if they wanted too I chose not too.
Except Lord of the Rings; return of the king I have that on both the xbox
and PC well technically I bought it for my girlfriend on the PC who also
bought it for me on the xbox.
You: The phantom is being released by a company with no track record, well
Sony had no track record in consoles either. 3DO hate to mention this also
had no track record, but had an dodgy product now they develop software for
other consoles and platforms.

Huh?

There nothing else to discuss.  The PS2 has sold far, far more than the
XBox.  What else is there?

No contradiction there.  The Phantom is using some soon to be end of life
parts.

Which motherboard would that be?  Did you look at the pictures in their
forum?  That ain't no standard ATX back panel you're dealing with...

No, I said IN TIME it'll be obsolete.

No, I said that running ALL PC games is, in fact, impossible.

>
> Yes, I'm the one who has stuck to a single line of argument and not

What points have I been proved wrong on?

Let's see:

Fact: The Phantom as yet is not available to the general public.
Fact: The Phantom is going to use PC technology to play PC games.  PC game
minimum system requirements change all the time.  Thus, as time progresses,
the Phantom will not be able to keep up with new games.
Fact: The Phantom is hella expensive, relative to other consoles.
Fact: The Phantom requires a broadband connection, of which only a few
people have.
Fact: A Phantom owner would have to rebuy any existing games he/she has for
their PC if they want to play it on the Phantom, assuming that it is
available for the Phantom.
Fact: The Phantom is being released by company with absolutely no track
record in ANYTHING.  At least everyone knew who Sony was when the PS1 came
out.

So, if you want, we can discuss just these points, and heck, you can try to
disprove me on every one of these points.

Haven't changed it one bit.  You do like to bring up lots of irrelevant
points though.  Say, who brought up little Johnny?

WinXP Embedded != WinXP Home != WinXP Professional.

I didn't take that attitude.  You did.  I'm just agreeing with you.

But you can't just play a game with the Phantom.  You need to download the
game first...
