I am not sure that I've heard that so much as it is a decent representation
of the 4 gospels.   The gospels are only one view of history and in fact don't
always speak in one voice, which makes sense since they were written by 4
people from their perspective..   The good news about this flick, as with the
"Di Vinci Code" is that they both sparked a public discussion of events.

-A lot of scholars and even the pope (who's job it is to know about
these things) agree that it's a VERY good representation of history. "It
is as it was" I believe was the Pope's quote.
