There's no such thing as bad publicity. I'm betting that Gibson made really
nasty scenes just for Jews to see and protest, but that he never planned to
have in the final movie. Just to get controversy. If I was putting 25
million into a picture and expecting to reap that many times over, I'd do
the same.
