marriage as an institution why not create an amendment to stop the number
cause of failed marriages in the country: adultery.
It makes more sense from any logical viewpoint.
And while we're at it let's just make another amendment that changes the
name of amendments to "Commandments" and be done with it.

Okay, I just finished listening to the President announce that he is going
to push for a Constitutional Amendment definition marriage (as legally
recognized by the Government) as a union between one man and one woman.
The show I'm listening to (Mark Davis on WBAP Dallas/Ft Worth) made a very
good point - this is not going to loose Bush any support. If people are
angry at him for this decision, they already didn't like him.
Should be an interesting fight. I don't know if it will actually pass or
not. I think that it's important to point out that he is talking about
legally recognized marriages and points out that States should come up with
some alternative for same sex couples that does not redefine marriage.
Who wants popcorn? This is going to be a fun show!
