there around a year ago, it cost us about $50-60 to fill the tank. And the
exchange rate is worse for us now, I think its like 1.8 to a pound or more.
So consider getting a smaller car that is gas efficiennt. Very few people
have larger cars tehre.

That's the kind of experience we're looking for. We've also decided we
probably don't need a sports car if we can't drive that fast + we found out
how much a Jaguar would run for a week ($1,000 + mileage) and decided that
money was better spent on pints :) So, with that in mind, are the Ford
Mondeo or Vauxhall Corsa decent cars. We've found rates that would put them
at $300 to $400 unlimited mileage for 8 days. I can't tell much from the
pictures and I don't want to find out that we've rented the "European Yugo"
:)
