 I think your use of the terms ''georeferenceable'' and ''georeferenced''
 is very helpful in this discussion.  It helpfully illustrates the
 difference that I agree should exist in the data model.

 Coordinates, collections of values, are georeferenceable, in principal.
 To explicitly georeference a coordinate requires a coordinate reference
 system.  These are separate concepts.
