Thanks for everyones help and comments. I guess it just frustrates me of the work I need to do now. Tweaking the software as well as out apps. Who has time for that?
The funny thing is though, what do CF Web Hosts do now? They have probably 100's of people putting up random CF code onto their servers? Good code, crappy code. Oh well, not my problem. ........Thanks....Rob Robertson-Ravo, Neil (RX) wrote: >Indeed....each app is different and it is a black art to get it down..... > > > >-----Original Message----- >From: Dave Hannum [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: 16 June 2005 16:04 >To: CF-Server >Subject: Re: CF and Jrun.exe at 99% > >Here's the Macromedia TechNote on JVM tuning for CFMX > >http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_18540 > >Dave Hannum > > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Robertson-Ravo, Neil (RX)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "CF-Server" <[email protected]> >Sent: Thursday, June 16, 2005 10:46 AM >Subject: RE: CF and Jrun.exe at 99% > > > > >>Well its not really MM's problem - the performance of your app is >>ultimately >>down to your tweaks in the JVM and the state of your code - most >>performance >>issues are a direct result of code gobbling up too much memory. >> >> >> >> >> >>-----Original Message----- >>From: Robert Walters [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>Sent: 16 June 2005 15:45 >>To: CF-Server >>Subject: Re: CF and Jrun.exe at 99% >> >>Thanks.
