And you are making assumptions as well here. A *GOOD* Flash developer would design the Flash interface to be lightweight, preload once (or as minimal as possible), and minimize the size of his/her Flash movies. No different is the argument that CFML is slow. Those of us that know CFML know that any poor developer can write bad CFML that will inherently be slow.

While the extra bandwidth may be worth it for a better experience, the extra bandwidth is still there.
