I think that where MM came up short in their MX endeavor was the ability to remove the *.cfm files and run applications off the resulting *.class files. Have the engineers been able to find any sort of solution for that situation? Searching the MM forums, this seems to be a popular topic, yet, curiously, there usually aren't any responses, MM or otherwise, to them. Hence, I'm going through an agonizing trial and error approach to get my MX installation running without a context root. I know things are changing shortly with the next release, buy my boss is adamant about not upgrading to the release for a while, so I'm "stuck" on MX U3 for the time being (which isn't bad, but still doesn't provide me with an out-of-the-box solution for no context root). I know that there are others out there who would benefit from this as well.
