Not to speak for Mike, but we're making use of the HTA framework supported
by IE (only).  It's incredibly nice to be able to build true applications
using only web technologies.  ;^)

(One nice thing about HTA's however is that you don't have to have to IE as
your default browser - it just needs to be available (as it is on any
windows XP system).  You can use FireFox for all browsing and use HTA
application's all day long and never see the IE interface.)

I still maintain that once enough people are using FireFox that very
openness and extensibility will be taken advantage of by the spyware writers
as well.

That, of course doesn't mean that it should be less open or extensible
(crippling a product is no way to address this).  I just don't see (to beat
this dead horse some more) how moving from IE will reduce spyware.
