Do not mean to take this in another direction but since we are on the topic of
Gateways and PayPal inparticular I have a question.

I tried following the PayPal turtorial on EasyCFM.com but it does not work for
me and I end up having to process peoples accounts myself.

Basically they sign up it gets sent to PayPal. They make their payment and
PayPal notifies me however after they make their payment it is suppose to come
back to my site and update their account as paid so they can gain full access
to my site and that does not happen

This will explain all the details of how merchant accounts really work:

I can explain where your charges come from, how your discount fees break
down, the different classifications of discount fees, and how to avoid many
of the charges you normally get billed for. Just give me a call at
770-446-8866 if you want to chat about it, or you can email me.

We can also set you up with everything you'll need:
