I think youtube must have had a number of people with the same issue, as it's now simply a single colour text snippet on a white background, but I agree with the principle (I am also colour vision impaired and I've seen some where I thought, "there's a word in there?").
I keep hearing good things about cfformprotect and It's about time I tried it out.
