I hate captchas. Especially hard ones. I have a visual disability which makes my vision about 20-50 with my glasses on. I have Best Disease. There are spots in my central vision. It means I read a lot slower than I used to. I don't read for pleasure at all anymore.
Anyway, I don't have any problem reading normal text on web sites.. but the way that some of the more complex captchas are produced, I have a hard time reading them. For example, I don't have any trouble with the captcha's on ray's blog. I can usually get the ticketmaster ones on the first try but it usually takes me quite a bit of staring to figure it out. Last time I tried to do anything on myspace that was protected by captcha (like setting up a group or joining a group), I couldn't do it at all. I just couldn't read their captchas.
