So, presumably, because the work that you do writing CF is non-original, and relies on the power of the ColdFusion server, and is significantly less complicated than writing the ColdFusion server, you charge significantly less for your time, right? I mean, thinking about my own career as a CF developer, the sum total of all the CF software I've written is almost certainly less sophisticated, less complex, etc than the CF server itself. So, presumably, I should have made no more than the cost of CF Enterprise, right? Long story short: your indignation is misplaced. Nearly all software is based on other software; maybe not in so obvious a fashion, but I doubt that the Dreamweaver team wrote everything in assembler. > And, yes, I could make back the money soon if it cost $1000...that's not the > point.
