A low-priced IDE could have really helped in that respect. The pricing
on this product seems once again solely focused on the existing market,
not towards growing it.

But there are already low priced IDE for ColdFusion, the fore mentioned
CFEclipse, my personal light weight tool, Crimson Editor, is free and
has ColdFusion syntax highlighting. Heck you can use vi, notepad or
innumerable text editors for free.

So what would having yet another low priced|free editor that anybody
could use with the free ColdFusion developer server? I think that
segment of the market is covered. I suspect this is a tool aimed at
those of us who are already using CF professionally and wish for
something with more dedicated umpf then what currently exists.

Personally I've paid $300 a couple of years ago for the Dreamweaver I
currently use, I think I will pay for this once I have budgeted the
funds. I just have to figure out what is the difference between
ColdFusion Builder with Flash Builder 4 standard bundled for $299 and
the Flash Builder Ulitmate upgrade for $299 with ColdFusion Builder. I
do have an old copy of Flex Builder 2 lying around that I have not used
to its full potential.
