The physical directory location is listed in the configuration. You can have multiple directories from multiple drives listed in a web site. When you point to a directory that is outside of the root, you are creating virtual directories (aka aliases in Apache), so yes, you can have files in multiple locations on multiple drives.

I am working with a client, who has both production and development stuff on the same machine. He has two drives, C and E. C drive has development files and E drive has production. The IIS configuration points to E drive. C drive the has the following structure: C:/ - Coldfusion 9 - Inetpub - coldfusion files E:/ - Web - coldfusion files But confused if IIS can point to two different drives? How to find out which drive the IIS point out to.. I hope I am not vague with my question Thanks a lot. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/message.cfm/messageid:343924 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/unsubscribe.cfm
