I'm happy to announce the launch of the Torchbox CF XML Toolkit, version 1.
This suite of custom tags includes improved versions of CF_XMLQUERY,
CF_INSERT and CF_UPDATE (the original versions should now be considered
obsolete), as well as tools for managing XSLT transformations, displaying
XML, persisting XML variables to disk, retrieving a subset of original XML
documents and much more. CF_XMLQUERY now allows for application level
caching, just like CF_QUERY; it also supports XML queries in both XPath and
SQL! (you'll need ColdFusion 5 for SQL queries of XML documents).
The toolkit was developed by David Maddison - from WildFusion - and me. It's
open source and free to download from:

The toolkit includes the tags, full installation notes, usage instructions,
example apps, Studio extensions and a brief XML reference section.
We'd love to have your feedback on the toolkit. Please post any questions,
