Gawd you gruden monkeys make life hard

Umm under your CFMX wwwroot dir (ie mine is C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\WEB-INF\jrun-web.xml) you need to add the following:

  <virtual-mapping>
    <resource-path>/bestrates</resource-path>
<system-path>C:/Applications/BatFink/projects/bestrates</system-path>
  </virtual-mapping>

Ie replace /bestrates/ with your cf-mapping (in cfide). This seems to work.

I forget the whole shebang as to why/reasons (have to ask [EMAIL PROTECTED] for an explanation) but it had something to do with the inbuild apache.axis in cfmx *fknose*).

Also, here's a tidbit picked up today from Spike, in that creating mappings via code vs CFMX admin:

<cfset application.mapping = "/blogx">

<cfset cfFactory = createObject('java','coldfusion.server.ServiceFactory')>
<cfset mappings = cfFactory.runtimeService.getMappings()>
<cfset mappings[application.mapping] = replace(getCurrentTemplatePath(),getFileFromPath(GetCurrentTemplatePath()),'')>
<cfset application.packagepath = "blogx.com.mossyblog">

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN, I'm FLASH MX, CENTRAL, FLEX, FLASH COM AND STILL CFMX strooooong.. i rox0rs you all now.

Sounds like it Scott - any chance you could be less vague on the fix :)
Which file, what changes, etc...
