In todays market is there really any security in a fulltime position? I
have been contracting for a little over 5 years now and I have yet to see
a fulltime position that would entice me to leave contracting. That said,
after you add up all of the costs and can avoid the PSI tax issue and do a
little income splitting etc, the difference in dollars is not all that
much. The cost of running a pty ltd against the amount in tax reduction
makes it hardly worthwhile for a service based contractor nowadays. If you
do go down the contracting path I would look into running through an
agency as a PAYG contractor.

my $0.02.
