I don't believe the above is very accurate. How many of the page views
and unique visitors that Macromedia gets are for Flash player downloads?
I'd guess most, which IMHO means that Macromedia's site isn't quite the
web property they make it out to be.

As I stated, there is no publicly available information on Macromedia's
scalability, which is why I felt you were making false assumptions.

I don't see what static or dynamic content has to do with scalability.
Certainly dynamic sites are more sensitive to scalability than static
ones, but that doesn't make them difficult to compare. With the correct
tools, scalability is an easy thing to measure.
