I personally love and use Jedit - although I have liceneses for Dreamveaver, Homesite etc. my main coding editor is Jedit. Install the plugins and you can have something close to Homesite
www.jedit.org It has nice HTML and XML features with the added benefit of having GREAT CVS support via Gruntspud and SFTP and FTP transports for remote work.....
