Mail Relevant only to those who want to configure ESRI's ArcIMS 4.01 App
server with JRUN bundeled with CFMX:

Ok, more complete setup instructions follow. I do not know if the Enterprise
version might have an issue though as it is tested only with Pro... but that
should not matter...

As for the Java Connector includes in the JVM classpath in CF Administrator:
The servlet connector does not need them as far as I know - but I always set
it up so that I can use the Java connector as I prefer to use it in certain
conditions.

Assuming the following setup (mangle paths according to yours):
c:\CFusionMX
c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcIMS\Connectors

(Be sure to have a clean 6.1 setup - we had problems with CFMX 6.0 with
patch 2 to 3 and found that it will not work with systems pached from SP2 to
SP3 - but 6.1 works fine)

1) Shutdown CFMX and ArcIMS
2) Copy c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcIMS\Connectors\Servlet\*.* to
c:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\WEB-INF\classes\

Be sure to mod the Web.xml file with the two XML islands before the
<session-config> tag (Dont know if this is that relevant though - that is
how mine works....)
      <servlet-name>esri</servlet-name>
         <servlet-class>com.esri.esrimap.Esrimap</servlet-class>
      </servlet>
      <servlet-mapping id="ServletMapping_1">
          <servlet-name>esri</servlet-name>
          <url-pattern>/com.esri.esrimap.Esrimap</url-pattern>
      </servlet-mapping>

I am assuming all other servlet engines are not active anymore - otherwise
you will have conflicts when the request comes in.

That should work... I have not done a setup in a while and hope nothing is
missing...

Sincerely
Hardy
