I sort of see where this is going. I guess we'll have to see if it goes there; I doubt it will.
If MM customers are requesting functionality located in BD; I would be surprised if there was not a way for MM to implement them w/o infringing on New Atlanta's proprietary rights.
For example, their cfimage tag may count as intellectual property, but the idea of a tag (or language construct) that can perform image manipulation probably cannot be "taken" by one vendor.
