I (used to) do that because (I used to) spend a lot of time doing them. Now, with AOP, Reactor etc I don't have to pay much attention at all :-) *However* we do still need to keep talking about OO, because there are a vast number of CF developers out there (well, at Scotch anyway !) that are not using OO at all - and building some fairly large apps.
