I do the same with every newsgroup I'm involved with (ColdSpring, Transfer, etc.). I'd miss things otherwise. And I agree that, unfortunately, CF-Talk is just overwhelming. Even if many of the threads do start off with a useful topic, they seem to quickly degrade into off-topic rants, flame wars, or arguments over minutiae. It's nothing against Michael or House of Fusion, they run a killer and hyperactive mailing list from a technical standpoint, and seem to do their best to keep things on topic. It's simply impossible given the volume.
