Dear Dan, In Excel, Word, BASIC, APL and any program I can recall I
open a workspace work on it save it recall it work on it some more save it whether on a 'calculator', pocket pc type of device, netbook, laptop, desktop or whatever (may I add that my i pod touch remembers my most recent work and lets me continue on it next time). i am getting the drift that i work numbers and calculations in ijx, this i like, but need to store and retrieve in ijs and keep shifting back and forth between ijs and ijx for storing and retrieving, when I would much rather stay in ijx , do it all there, and never know ijs. i get the drift that there is no 'list' function to admire my latest simple few steps programs altogether after editing and working them and having numbers and lines all over the place. thanks D dig dig dig: kettle.... bye the bye, I have given up for now on installing J 'properly' onto small pocket devices. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
