ijx is just one way of looking into the pool.
jconsole is another.
there is a gui way of looking at things.
next generation J7 will probably add browser windo in as well as a GTK
front end.

As you see ijx is more or less like looking at a debug window.

The J engine could just read in some scripts, some files and spot out
some files without you having any ijx window to look at what is going
on.

The ijx only shows a fraction of J pool of stuff at a time anyway.
