Bjorn, Yes, I agree that it would be nice to be able to customize a mail reader to my own preferences, although my preferences are likely quite different from yours or anyone elses.
A preference I have would be to use a Tab in front of paragraphs and maybe for lining up columns in a message, but gmail does not make that easy, does it? I have also thought I would like to annotate and edit some messages, for my own later reference. One workaround I have contemplated for this, but have not as yet tried, would be forward messages to myself after annotating/editing them. I agree that gmail find is very powerful. 2010/3/16 Björn Helgason <[email protected]>: > Some mail readers allow follow up to reschedule reading mail and also > making a mail turn into a project to be rescheduled. > > After supporting a lot of users over the years it is apparent that > most users only use a very small part of the tools available and it is > difficult to see what use there is of all the very advanced > functionality that has been popping up. > > It would be nice to get some simple mail reader with the new J7 that > could be used as a building block together with projects. > > 2010/3/15 Björn Helgason <[email protected]>: >> You can put the same message in many folders/groups and only one copy >> is of the message.
