Ok! With OpenLayers, another project I am involved with, there is a nice
gallery with the ability for individuals to post an image and a link to
the website: <http://gallery.openlayers.org/> would something like that
be nice to have on the cherokee-project too?

Ok, I will set up a script and a "clean" virtual image. I will get back
on that when it is finished so the dev-team can use it too if they like!

This I will take as my main concern.

Indeed! I forgot to mention that in my previous post, but all your
comments are highly appreciated by me.

Sincerely,
