[Chevelle-List] Straight exhaust

I remember someone posting a msg awhile back saying that it was a mistake to have straight pipes coming off the headers.  Like you needed two bends or something to keep it from resonating...anyone remember this?  Reason I ask is cuz I want to put straight pipes off my headers to two flowmasters(2-chamber) with turndowns right before the differential.  Anyone see any major problems with doing that?  Oh, I do want it loud.
