I remember someone posting a msg awhile back saying that it was a mistake to have straight pipes coming off the headers.
Like you needed two bends or something to keep it from resonating...anyone remember this? Reason I ask is cuz I want to put straight pipes off my headers to two flowmasters(2-chamber) with turndowns right before the differential. Anyone see any major problems with doing that? Oh, I do want it loud.
Also, how important is an H-pipe, and what is it's purpose?
That would sound great at idle, but as I found out with the full exhaust, Flowmaster 2 chambers sound like crap at WOT...Next time I redo an exhaust, I'll be going with quieter mufflers that sound good at all rpm ranges....
