Hey List -
The rear control arm thread reminded me to tell you all about the rear
control arms I just got from BMR Fabrication (www.bmrfabrication.com). They are
tubular with greasable poly bushings and are VERY beefy. The lowers have the
sway bar holes drilled and reinforced, and the uppers have a 1/4" flange where
they mount to the diff. housing. I got the adjustable uppers that have a thick
threaded insert in the middle with a large jam nut to hold the adjustment
setting. All this for HALF the price of the Hotchkiss kit for my car (~$300),
and they're available in several powder coat colors (nice finish too). I got
'em in bright yellow to match my rear shocks and traction bar snubbers. Just
the thing to correct my pinion angle and help get the power from my new 427 SBC
to the ground! My brother got the Panhard rod and tubular lower arms for his
'90 1LE Camaro too. Applications include A, G and F-bodies; and newer Mustangs,
Impalas and Corvettes. Just thought I would pass this info along.
