Not sure on the costs, but the 4L80E is a much better tranny than the
700R4. The 200 & 700 were 80's stand-ins that were engineered from the
TH-350 & 400's...they did not have much quality control due to lean profits
and there's lots of inferior workmanship and parts in them. The 4L's on the
other hand were built from the ground up and engineered much better. If I
had to have one, that's what I'd get...
