kelly, im changing from 4speed to auto. got 69ss with 471 cu.in. 685hp 4.30
gear.was going to
turbo 400 with high stall and trans brake. this is radical street not strip
car so i was told to
investigate 4L80 because of the overdrive. whats your comments!!

If I were you, and you do 70mph cruising a lot, I'd go with the 3:50's or
max 3.73's...or, like I'm going to do someday, get an overdrive tranny,
which will drop that rpm real nice, yet still get the acceleration of the
4:10's...
Better have some high dollars stowed away for the tranny swap, the four
speeds are very expensive to make bulletproof in high HP cars. Don't get the
2004R no matter what!
