sag's (4spd's)usally only cost about 150.oo throughjunk  yards,.....
prefer trans out of vega's/ monza's(4cylinders) (have better 2nd-3rd
ratio's) u can identify them by the groves in the input shafts
(if memory serves- 4 cyl;3groves -- 6cyl;2groves -- 8cyl;1 or no groves)
at wreak'n-yard -- (theymake too much money per car,so dont feel gulity,)
find a 4spd SAG & a 3spd sag -- swap side covers -- pay 4 3spd SAG
(about 2/3's the price) take home, swap ur side cover on it, go have fun!!!  --  hey, it works(besides,they pay 150. per car and on the average, they make over 750. per car -- so go for it!!!)
