the Saginaw 4 speed isn't the correct transmission for your car. Saginaw 4
speeds were introduced for light duty applications (under 300 HP) . the
correct 4 speed is a Muncie for 1969 BB cars. The 3 speed Saginaw also was
made for light duty applications. for a 3 speed big block application either
the Borg-Warner (t16)(65-68) or the Muncie 3 speed (69-72). The Saginaw 3
speed will work but you will tear it out if you abuse it.
